□ The Educational Affairs Support Team of the Korean Council for University Education (hereinafter referred to as KCUE, chaired by Sang-Gue Park, President of Chung-Ang University) hosted the "2024 University Academic Innovation and Best Practices Forum" on December 18 (Wednesday). The event was held at the Sapphire Hall of the Peace & Park Convention Center and was simultaneously live-streamed through KCUE’s official YouTube channel, <kcue-adigatv>.
□ This forum featured a keynote lecture on the topic of “Research on University Academic Innovation Practices” and showcased best practices from five universities selected for excellence in academic fields. The event provided a platform to share specific strategies for academic innovation and effective academic operations tailored to the unique characteristics and operational directions of individual universities. It also served as an opportunity to discuss avenues for inter-university exchange and collaboration.
□ Going forward, the Ministry of Education and KCUE’s Educational Affairs Support Team will continue to support the establishment of a flexible and autonomous academic management system that can effectively respond to societal demands through coordination and consensus building within universities.
