❒ The Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) held its 264th Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, November 7, at Koreana Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.

❒ During the meeting, the board deliberated and approved the following agenda items: the by-election of the 22nd-term executives, the by-election of members for the University Admissions Committee, the formation plan for the 14th University Ethics Committee, amendments to the regulations, and the election plan for the executive board. Additionally, reports were presented on the results of the 2024 National Assembly audit, the outcomes of the 1st Board Forum, the progress of the University-Regional Innovation Task Force (2nd year), and the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Disabled People's Development Institute.

❒ Furthermore, Ju Hyung-hwan, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Aging Society and Population Policy, attended the meeting to provide a policy briefing on measures to reverse the declining birthrate trend. He also engaged in discussions by listening to opinions from universities on the matter.
