□ Gu-wuck Bu, President of Youngsan University, was inaugurated as the 21st Chairman of the Korean Council for University Education (KCUE). The inauguration ceremony was held at KCUE main conference room in Seoul on January 16th, 2015.

□ Chairman Bu said, “we will put together a ’10-year plan for university development’ and present a vision to ensure that all universities raise competitiveness despite various given situations. Such circumstances include regional differences (capital or non-capital) and various forms of universities (public or private).“

□ Among the attendants were the member university presidents, leaders of relevant organizations and government officials, including Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Deputy Minister of Education, former Minister of Education, Chief Director of Hoam Foundation, President of the Academy of Korean Studies and many others. The farewell ceremony was also held for the former Chairman, Junyoung Kim.
