265th Board of Directors Meeting

❒ The Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) held its 265th Board of Directors meeting on December 16 (Monday) at the Maehwa Hall on the 19th floor of the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. ❒ Prior to the 265th Board Meeting, a presentation on the RISE proposal was delivered by Chairman Kim Heon-young of the RISE Committee, followed by a discussion session with university presidents. The subsequent board meeting deliberated and resolved key agenda items, including the management of the 22nd executive members, the 2025 business plan and budget proposal, the membership application of Ghent University, the budget borrowing plan for the Korean University Accreditation Institute in 2025, and proposed amendments to regulations. Reports were also presented on the 2024 business and accounting audit, the outline of the 2025 General Assembly, the schedule for the 2025 Summer University Presidents’ Seminar, the plan for the 2024 Regular Admission College Information Fair, and the establishment of the University RISE Support Center. ❒ Additionally, in the afternoon session, Chairperson Lee Bae-yong of the National Education Commission attended the meeting to engage in discussions and gather university perspectives on the topic of the "Mid- to Long-Term National Education Development Plan"
