KCUE NEWS 266th Board of Directors Meeting 2025-02-06 14:14:08 ❒ The Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) held its 266th board of directors meeting on Wednesday, January 22, at The Westin Josun Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul.❒ During this board of directors meeting, the 2024 business performance and settlement of accounts, as well as the results of the 2024 operational and financial audits, were reviewed and approved. Additionally, the proposed budget for 2025 was reported. 2025 General Assembly 2025-02-05 14:04:49 ❒ The Korean Council for University Education (hereinafter referred to as KCUE) held its General Assembly on Wednesday, January 22, at The Westin Chosun Seoul, Jung-gu, Seoul.❒ A total of 121 university presidents from 197 four-year universities nationwide attended the assembly to review and approve the 2024 business performance and financial statements, as well as the 2025 business plan and budget. Additionally, the election of the executive board took place during the meeting.❒ During the , reports were presented on the "Higher Education Development Plan and Mid-to-Long-Term Financial Strategy" research findings and the results of the University-Regional Innovation Task Force (TF), led by Chairman Oh Deok-seong, President of Woosong University. Discussion with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education - Link: https://youtu.be/eb6lCfLcQAI 2024 Performance Sharing Conference on Customized Career and Employment Support for Students with Disabilities & University Life Experience Support 2025-02-04 10:38:12 ❒ The Korean Council for University Education (Chairman Park Sang-gue, hereinafter KCUE)'s Higher Education Support Center for Students with Disabilities held the 2024 "Performance Sharing Conference on Customized Career and Employment Support for Students with Disabilities & University Life Experience Support" on Monday, December 23, at Courtyard Marriott Namdaemun (Jung-gu, Seoul).❒ The purpose of this performance-sharing conference was to share the achievements of the Customized Career and Employment Support Program for Students with Disabilities and the University Life Experience Support Program for Students with Disabilities, strengthen the cooperation system for supporting students with disabilities, and provide an opportunity to enhance educational services for students. Approximately 70 participants attended, including representatives from 10 universities participating in the 2024 Customized Career and Employment Support Program for Students with Disabilities, officials from provincial and metropolitan offices of education and universities involved in the University Life Experience Support Program for Students with Disabilities, representatives from the Ministry of Education's Lifelong and Vocational Education Planning Division, and officials from the KCUE Higher Education Support Center for Students with Disabilities.❒ By sharing regional and type-specific best practices from universities participating in the Customized Career and Employment Support Program for Students with Disabilities, the conference aimed to enhance the systematic support for students with disabilities.
